Note: you can use keyboard to navigate: arrows to move and space or enter to open/collapse sections

merging (joining forces)

two (adjacent) units can be merged into one

splitting (detaching forces)

a unit can be split across adjacent tiles

multiple detachment

a unit can detach any number of tanks towards any of the adjacent tiles

combined split & merge

splitting can be combined with merging when the target tile is with unit

if merged, can't move

after merging, movement is not allowed

if moved, can't merge

a unit which moved cannot move again to merge (but can be merged into)

no merge or split across river

merging and splitting are not allowed across a river

(6 tanks maximum per unit)

cannot use merge or split to make a unit stronger than 6 tanks
